Grand Master David Chih-Young Lin is the only remaining Grand Master of the complete Taoist Martila Art tradition. Since 1954, Grand Master Chih-Young Lin has studied with more than ten Great Grand Masters and is dedicated to passing on the knowledge which were given to him. Some of the martial arts systems Grand Master Lin has studied include Sun-Ping, Tung-Pei, Chang-Chuan, Hsing-l, Pa Kua, Chin-Na and Shuai-Chiao just to name a few. In addition, he holds high ranks of instructor status in other martial art systems such as Aikido, Jujitsu, Judo, and Karate. His wide experience has helped him to understand the essence of Taoist Martial Arts.

He is the National Vice-Chairman of the Chinese Martial Arts Division of The Amateur Athletic Union, and Director of both the Pa-Kua Chang and Shuai-Chiao divisions of the United States Chinese Kuoshu Federation. He is also Shuai-Chiao directory of the United Kung-Fu federation of North America.
